Slow Developer

We have a 3 year old slow developer. Is your ABC Fun & 1-2-3 package advisable for her?

She can not speak properly yet understands a lot more than expected.

Would this progam assist her?

YES, I think ABC Fun & 1-2-3 would most definitely help your little girl, as it encourages a lot of reading aloud and the learning and reciting of nursery rhymes.

Just those two language activities alone will help to develop her language skills - even is she is not yet PRODUCING much speech, just hearing you will be stimulating that part of her brain.

(If you haven't yet, have her hearing checked, as indistinct hearing is sometimes the reason that children are slow to speak or speak unclearly.)

Secondly, there are so many other Benefits of Reading with Children - over 20 that I have listed.

...and besides that, ABC Fun & 1-2-3 includes many other ideas and activities that you can enjoy with her. You don't have to rush through it - work at her pace and follow her level of interest.

At preschool level your child is SAOKING up so much like a little sponge - things that we are often not even aware of...so don't be tempted to try to push her or to get her to 'catch up' with other kids. Allow her the freedom to progress at her own pace and praise her every step of the way.
