Apple Pie

Food
A few traditional foods that preschoolers would love if they are available would be Apple Pie, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, or Graham Crackers. (My preschoolers love to dip graham crackers in milk.)

Books
Also some good books to read might be some of the American Folk Tales like Paul Bunyan, Pecos Bill, or Brer Rabbit. There are also several great children's books about quilts that might be fun if you focused on the American Pioneers. Many traditional cultures have quilting so it could be interesting to compare them!
